Linden (limewood). Carved from one piece of wood (without glue etc).
Natural wood color.
Size - about 12 х 20 cm.
Horace Walpole said: "There is no instance of a man before Gibbons who gave to wood the loose and airy lightness of flowers". Well... now there is the man after Gibbons who tamed the wood and made it alive.

That is such an incredible wood carving. I don't think that I have ever seen anything that comes close to this one. I just hope that I can work my way up to be half as talented as the person that carved that.
